Finally on the desktop again!

Went swimming with Garrett just now after tuition. He's such a dear. (But he wouldn't sit still during the lesson!!!)

Dan and Jackie visited Daddy in Antwerp a week or 2 ago and Daddy brought them to Waterloo, Brussels, Brugge & Ghent in a day. He also brought them to the Italian restaurant in front of the Catheral, Amadeur Pork Rib in Ghent and of cos they had Kriek too!

Dan the man is my cousin-in-law.

Everytime I look at the photos I'll miss my family so much.

Business Law class got cancelled last minute AGAIN. For the 3rd time.. 3 weeks in a row. We have 1 lesson a week and 7 weeks per half term. So basically half the lessons have been cancelled since I started school because it's week 6 now.

I think Biz Law class is going to be postponed to Saturday afternoon again. So how now brown cow? Got the Power of One conference to attend also. OH! ALMOST FORGOT. Saturday morning got make up lesson for Biz, Gov and Society. It ends at 1. Mmm....

Anyway, I've cut my hair as i've promised myself. It doesn't really look short but it IS short. I can't even tie up a proper pony-tail without pinning up all over. argh. I HAD TO CUT!

Project meeting tmr morning 9-12, then gym and lunch after that. Class from 3.30 to 5. Then continue project meeting till night. But hope it's gonna be fun. Definitely more fun than Business, Government and Society project! (But my groupmates for BGS are real fun so it's ok actually)

I've been quite lucky so far. Business Law group is SO cute and nice. Went for a movie together that day and it was fun. BGS group is quite crazy cos there're 4 girls and a guy(the sherman guy, who was riliang's VJ classmate) and we make a great sisterhood.

Creative Thinking is ok. Haven't had enough time together yet. Tmr's a long day anyway.. will see them lots. Shouldn't be boring. It is a fun topic anyway. Flatulance.

Anyway, my fav drink HAS to be ICE CLEMENTI. It's not all that special but I love the name. So creative ain't it? Ya, you can only get it at the Botak Jones place in Clementi.

BGS presentation tmr!! AH..... Hi, today i'll be talking about Petronas' awareness of the environment. Due to the nature of Petronas' businesses, it is important to understand how they have stepped up to ensure that it's products and services do not contribute to global warming as much as possible. Companies in the past....blahblah..............blahblah........ Now, Sherman will tell you more about how Petronas practices CSR and how they contribute back to the society...

Mmm, this year, i got to know 2 Shermans. Well, I knew of sherman cheng before this year, but got to KNOW him this year.. Sherman Chua is my uni friend and BGS project groupmate. It is evident that Shermans like to be called sherm and that they love to use GG in every possible situation.

Angie's still the best eh? Angie-the-choice. Should have bought the cake from angie-the-choice!!

i've been having breathing problems for the past week and i'm feeling so sick. i can't eat well can't sleep well and i'm just so tired from just breathing. 

I just realised that i've gotten so used to typing my smu vista and email password that when I log in to hotmail, blogdrive etc, my hand just goes straight for the smu password-which requires at least one number, one capital letter and one small letters. !

Just read sherman's blog(which reminded me of how emo guys can get these days.. HEH. gf!!) to get some photos and realised that it's been a while since i've had like.. REAL FUN!!! sailing for relaxation. It's not that I don't have fun during training or what, because I usually always do. (Unless Riliang makes us go figure of eight round 2 marks for an hour in 3 knots of shifty wind. GOD.) But anyway, yesterday was fun.

It's been ages since I sailed a 420. Maybe once with Joel when Jovina first started 420, and once with Pris after training and I broke her rudder pin. But that's also quite some time ago. Wanted to race 420 in Pesta Sukan but no boat no partner, plus it's a ranking regatta so I had to sail Laser. Miss the speed, the space and the spin!! Love reaching in it.

This few days have really got me thinking. About me going back to double handed. But there are some things i can't help. I AM stuck at 165.

Ha, I went out with Paul, his cousin and angie-the-choice on a 420(HAPPY TOES! the one I used at sea games!) and had a great time. Later I sailed with Toh and her dad cos the wind was so strong they needed some heavy weight in the 470 (*ahem*..me). After that I went on Junhao's Laser with Mummy Shirley and we've decided we're going into Yngling together. YOU WATCH OUT!! Haha.. And in the end sailed with "lovely" "little" Bryan and Paul in 420 again.

Yesterday during the bbq, I called Paul a few times. He didn't reply. "Paul... eh Paul..... Paul!.." Mmm, then I began to wonder.. "Is that even Paul? Why isn't he responding.." Seriously, that's the thing about twins.. When you call one of them and they don't reply, you'll wonder if you're calling the right twin. Well, It was Paul. Tim wasn't even there yesterday.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY:

Went to Jess' birthday party with ZHU!! Which pleasantly surprised Jess.. Hehe. I haven't seen zhu in such a long long time.. She's really one of the best buddies that I have. We don't usually contact each other much nor do we meet up.. but when i'm with her.. i'm so happy and we can talk about anything under the sun. I still remember how she piggy-backed me home from the chinese sinseh in Sec2, after I sprained my ankle. She accompanied me to the sinseh with Justin Wong. (Mummy said, even if i'm not elephant standard, i'm definitely hippo standard.. get the picture??) Zhu is half a head shorter and probably half my size as well. So.. ya.

She's riding a red vespa now!! SO CUTE! But she really has to be careful when she rides.. She's just as careless and clumsy as ever and i'd be lying if I said i'm not worried about her.

Oh, talking about Zhu. Her name is... Juvena but she's more commonly known as Huilin. (Giba can't pronounce her name.. He calls her.. You-rin) I still remember we saw an opti boat in NSC one day.. YEARS AGO..with the name JOVINA on its side.. She came running to me and told me "EH!! There's someone called Jovina! So similar to my name!"

(And yes, Jov, that's your Jovina boat I believe..)

Well yeah, I left the party and went to the airport to pick SL up and went for supper. I'm finally back home and I'm so sleep now!! So i'm going to sleep, Goodnight!

Before I left school today, I bumped into Clarence!! As in Darren (aka Xiaobao)'s helm Clarence! It was so nice to see him. Totally made my day. Super nice guy. I love seeing familiar faces in unfamiliar places.

Renfred cycled to school today and we had lunch together. LONG lunch. Subways, EAT FRESH! He really look more za bo than me..

Creative Thinking (CT) was quite enjoyable. Since it's mostly just discussions and group projects and stuff. The prof, Kirpal Singh, is a funny man. Must check out his book, Thinking Hats and Coloured Turbans. Anyway, there's no topic for the project!! It's like we can do anything we want to.

Business Law. Is.. business law. At least I got Renfred's prof.. can take his notes.

Wednesdays I end at 12pm. Yay!!

I've forgotten how sea sickness felt until today. Man! The waves were huge!! And the wind was.. erm, strong. They measured it.. It did hit 25knots for a while.  I was bobbing up and down and up and down.. and finally, the linguine all came out, with some mandarin taste 100plus. Yummyyyyeeeeeeee..........

URGH..

But other than that.. IT WAS SO FUN!!! I just love the feeling.. you can't really control the boat and you're fighting so hard to be in and to stay in control. But it's almost impossible. And then you start planning down a massive wave and you think to yourself, what a wonderful life..

And sailing the laser in strong wind upwinds, you only need one thing. Freaking muscular thighs that never run out of energy to hike. That's all.

One of my fav hobbies, is lying down with mummy and talking about everything under the sun.

I can't believe that i've forgotten the time when me and Dawn almost went crashing into the jagged wall at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club during the 30knots storm day, and before we actually hit the wall, Jiaolian came in time and put his boat between our boat and the wall..so that we wouldn't crash. Then he tried so hard to help us upright the boat and the waves kept crashing onto our boats making it so difficult. After a long struggle, he finally got us back to shore. You know, I love jiaolian.

Still looking forward to my next tuition lesson..

Very soon, I'll be a uni student already.. Ooo.. and the first class is analytical skills.. AND, the prof(who is irish) is the funny guy who made SL read a sentence with the name Siobhan in it, betting that he can't pronounce it. Of cos, SL managed to pronounce THE name properly..

School starts at 3.30pm.. :) Yay...
